28 and Slaying

Hello Lovelies,

Today is possibly the greatest day out of the entire year! Okay I might be a bit biased, since today is my birthday! I am definitely one of those people who makes a big spectacle out of their birthday and insists to celebrate it all week long (no judgement). Today I am officially 28 years old (yay), and unlike my friends who seem to be dreading their late twenties marking them closer to thirty, I am fully embracing it! Growing up Somali you learn that 30 is the new 50, but I refuse to believe this notion. So as I slide into my late twenties, I will be embracing everything that comes my home, aside from negativity (no one got time for that). This past year has been an amazing one for me. I got married to my best friend and moved to a new country (Hello Canada). So as an ode to the past year I decided to share my fav fashion moments. Goodbye 27 and Hello 28! -Habon xo

  7. To be honest I’m not sure lol, I can completely respect private life is private. But maybe reviews of restaurants u go to, how you get your hair so SLAY! Advice about keeping positive energy n good friends. How you stay so confident in your own skin . Now you remove nagativity , tips on early days in marriage if you have any.

    What’s crazy is I got married a month or two week after you I believe lol n just relate SO MUCH.
    But your blog is super cute love it x
