I thought it would be fun to do a “what’s in my handbag” post today and show you what I carry around on a daily basis. Before we start, there’s something you need to know…I’m slightly obsessed with handbags. Okay slightly might be a HUGE understatement, lol. There’s nothing I love more than a well structured handbag. So naturally my handbag of choice today is my Prada Saffiano Lux BN1801 in Cammeo. The blush color is the perfect neutral and always compliments any outfit, from jeans to a LBD. I see myself grabbing this bag a lot when I go out, mainly for it’s beauty and practicality (it comes with a detachable shoulder strap, score!).
I’m a little OCD when it comes to my bags and try hard to keep them well organized. The best way to stay organized is to keep everything in small compartments. I love my Michael Kors Jet Set Cosmetic Case (here) it’s large enough to hold all my fav everyday products and still looks stylish. Inside my cosmetic case you’ll find:
Sugar Lip Treatment You can pick up yours at Sephora (here). It comes in a dozen different shades. I have the original Fresh color which goes on clear, ideal for everyday use.
Mini Vaseline Lip Balm (here) I love having the mini tube it’s the perfect size to carry in your bag.
5 Cobalt Gum, which you can pick up at any convenient store or gas station. This one is my favorite flavor.
Twisted Peppermint Hand Gel (similar) I picked this one up from Bath and Body Works and I love the scent.
Hair Scrunchies (similar) I always lose my hair scrunchies, so I try to keep a few extras with me, just in case.
Pink Chiffon Hand Cream (here) I love how smooth this cream makes me hands, especially during the winter!
Eyelash Curler from Tweezerman (here) These will make your lashes look like totally falsies!
Mini Emergency Kit in Multi Glitter (here) I picked this up from Sephora and I believe every female should have one in her bag. It literally has everything you could possible need (ie: Advil, deodorant, floss, nail polish remover, clear nail polish, double sided tape and so much more)! Obviously the multi glitter was a huge selling point lol. But seriously get one!
I never leave the house without these three items.
Louis Vuitton Josephine Wallet in Damier Ebene (here). I love the Damier Ebene canvas it goes with all my handbags. So I rarely switch my wallet when I’m changing bags. It has four credit card slots and a separate compartment for receipts and cash. I also love the removable coin pouch. It’s kind of like having another mini wallet! You can also monogram your initials complimentary at the Louis Vuitton boutique, which I’m planning to do soon.
Prada Baroque Sunglasses in Black (here) I’m literally obsessed with these sunnies. I always wanted oversized black shades (think Olsen twins) so when I found them about two years ago I knew I had to get them. These are my go to shades and I can say I wear them constantly. I love the designs on the sides which gives it an instantly glamorous look.
Moleskine Legendary Plain Notebook (here) and a pen. I constantly make lists and jot down ideas, so carrying a mini notebook is a must for me.
I hope you enjoyed taking a glimpse inside of my handbag. I would love it if you can tell me which items you never leave the home without- xo Habon
PS: I’ll do a full review on my Prada bag soon!
I love everything in your bag and the purse no comment Mashallah my diva go girl .

Hey! I really like your style. Just a quick question, I don’t know if you’re into Chanel bags. But I really like the 2.55 bag and I prefer the lambskin finish, but it deteriorates a lot quicker compared to the caviar finish. What’s your opinion?

Thank you hun! That’s actually a great question. I love Chanel bags! Lambskin is extremely soft and supple, it literally feels like butter. It is also VERY delicate. Caviar on the other hand has a rougher finish but that also means you don’t have to baby it as much. That being said, my Chanel classic flap bag is in lambskin and I absolutely love how it feels but I’m extremely careful with it. I only take it out if the weather is good (no rain or snow) and I’m careful what I wear with it. It’s colored so color transfer is much easier. So to answer your question, it depends on how you’ll treat your bag and if this will be your main everyday bag. If it’s your main bag and you want a lot of use out of it, then I say go for the Caviar (especially in black). If this will be your “special” bag and you’re willing to take really good care of it then go for the lambskin (the texture is amazing). Hope this helps and definitely let me know which you pick! -xxHabon
