Happy Hump Day! This past weekend my husband’s high school friend tied the knot, and we’re invited to celebrate in the festivity. The beautiful couple held an old Hollywood themed wedding, which was decked out in tall feather centerpieces, sequined table linens, and even director chairs! The couple said I Do at The Factory Lounge and converted the space into a fab party that Gatsby himself would have held. I loved the ticket stubs that we’re used as entrance to the reception, along with the candy stations placed at each table. Every thought was planned perfectly, which was no surprise since the lovely bride is also a wedding planner. Check out her awesome work here!
I went dress hunting with my sister, and we found the perfect gown at The Bay. Once I slipped on the midnight blue gown I knew it was the one. I love the nude lace top half of the gown which compliments the navy blue of the gown. The bottom half the dress is a jersey wrap material which is extremely flattering and super comfortable. I decided to carry my Jimmy Choo clutch to add a bit of sparkle to the gown. I paired it with my dark nude Loubs. I kept my jewelry simple with a watch, small earrings and a simple necklace. I let the dress be the star of the outfit. I think this might be my new fav gown! Don’t forget to shop the look below. -Habon xo
