SKINCARE

 

-How many times do you wash your face daily?

Twice, once in the morning and again before I head to sleep.

 

-What skin type do you have? (dry,oily,combo)

I definitely have dry skin! It’s much worse in the winter but pretty manageable, thanks to my Cetaphil moisturizer.

 

 -What is your current facial wash?

I’m currently using the Rice Water Bright face wash from the Face Shop. I’ve been using it for almost a year now .  It has a pleasant clean scent and I love how quickly it lathers up. I always feel like my skin is super clean after using it.

 

 -Do you exfoliate?

Not really, my skin can be on the sensitive and I haven’t really found one that I’m loving.

 

-What brand do you use?

When I actually get around to exfoliating I use Origins.

 

-What moisturizer do you use?

I’m completely obsessed with my Cetaphil moisturizer. You can pick it up at any drug store and it will last you a lifetime. Okay maybe not a lifetime but easily a several months to a year. Best part, it’s extremely affordable, so what’s there not to love about it!

 

-Do you have freckles?

No I don’t have any.

 

-Do you use eye cream?

I don’t use any eye cream. If you can tell, my skin care routine is pretty simple, probably because my parents and grandparents skin is flawless, so I’m not panicking. At least not right now.

 

-Do you or did you have acne prone skin?

No I’ve never had acne prone skin.

 

-Did you ever have to use Pro-activ?

No I haven’t.

 

MAKE-UP

 

-What foundation do you use?

I’m completely obsessed with my NARS Sheer Glow foundation. The New Gunina shade compliments me perfectly. Check out my raving review on the product here.

-How about concealer?

My concealer is also from NARS, it’s their creamy radiant one. It’s amazing and goes on smoothly. I love how creamy it is and it blends in super easy! The only downside is that it finishes fast, no bueno!

 -Do you know your undertone color?

I have yellow undertones under my eyes, T-zone and cheeks, but red undertones around my chin and forehead. Thank you discoloration!

 

-What do you think of fake eyelashes?

I love the look of fake eyelashes. I think they really open the eyes up and add an instant glam look. I’m horrible at applying the lash strips, so I just get eyelash extensions done and keep those up. I get the #IWokeUpLikeThis with minimal effort. Score! -Did you know that you are supposed to change your mascara every 3 months?

About that…yes I know you’re suppose to but I really don’t. Shh, don’t tell anyone.

 

-What brand of mascara do you use?

I was obsessed with the Dior Show mascara but since I get eyelash extensions, I only use mascara for my bottom lashes. I love the Gigablack from MAC.

-Sephora or MAC?

I basically get everything I need from Sephora since they carry a wide range of different brands and companies such as NARS, Anastasia Beverly Hills and Huda beauty to name a few. I do pop over to MAC for my beloved eye brow pencil Spiked (best one for filling my brows), their lip liners (Chestnut is awesome) and of course their amazing lipstick range!

 

-Do you have a MAC Pro-card?

No I don’t but I am a Sephora VIB Rouge!

 

-What makeup tools do you use in make up application?

I mainly use my Beauty Blender sponge but I have a few brushes, not a crazy huge collection though and their mainly from the drugstore.

 

-Do you use make-up base/primer for the eyes?

I’ve recently discovered Urban Decay’s Primer Potion and I’m loving it!

 

-For the face?

I don’t really use primer for my face but I definitely want to start using it. Would love any good recommendations.

 

-What is your favorite eyeshadow (color or shade)?

I really love the whole Naked 3 palette from Urban Decay. It has the perfect rosy pink hues that always come out beautifully!

 

-Do you use pencil or liquid eyeliner?

I love using pencil eyeliner to rim the bottom of my eyes. I use Smolder from MAC.

 

-How often do you poke your eyes with an eyeliner pencil?

Umm never, years of practice have made me a pro. Thank you 10,000 hour rule!

 

-What do you think of pigment eyeshadows?

I love pigment eyeshadows, especially when done correctly.

 

-Do you use mineral makeup?

No, I prefer liquid makeup since I’m always trying to achieve that dewy look #thatglowthough

 

-What is your favorite lipstick?

I love Whirl lipstick from MAC especially when I pair it up with Chestnut lip liner!

-How about lipgloss?

I’m a huge fan of lipgloss, I know everyone is obsessed with the matte look but I think there’s nothing better the glossy lips. My go to is Rebel lipgloss from MAC and recently I’ve been loving Tara from Anastasia Beverly Hills!

-What is your favorite blush to use?

Love Joy from MAC gives me the perfect blush shade each time!

 

-Do you buy your makeup on ebay?

No I don’t. Do people actually do that?

 

-Do you like drugstore makeup?

I’ve lived off drugstore makeup all throughout high school. I don’t really have any now though, but I love getting my brushes from there.

 

-Do you go to CCO’s? (cosmetic company outlets)

No I don’t, I didn’t know they existed. Locations please!

 

-Did you ever consider taking make-up classes?

Yes I would love to learn to do Insta worthy makeup and make a fortune. Sigh, one day hopefully!

 

-Are you clumsy in putting on makeup?

I wouldn’t use the word clumsy but I wouldn’t consider myself a pro yet. So I won’t be creating a YouTube channel for makeup just yet.

 

-Name a makeup crime that you hate?

Just not blending enough, I hate when I can see someone’s contour and concealer, blend ladies and gentleman, BLEND!

 

-Do you like colorful shades of makeup (lipstick,eyeshadow) or neutral ones?

I wish I was more adventurous when it comes to colorful shades but I’m pretty neutral. The most I’ll do is a pink or purple on my lids but my lipstick shades are almost always a nude/pink color.

 

-Which celebrity always has great make up?

I really love how Jennifer Lopez makeup always looks. She’s got down pact that dewy flawless look that I’m always trying to achieve! 

 

-If you could leave the house using just ONE make up item,what would you use?

Rebel lipgloss from MAC, since I already have eyelash extensions, adding this lipgloss just gives me the right amount of makeup without really doing anything.

 

-Could you ever leave the house without any makeup on?

Yes and I usually don’t wear makeup on a regular bases, especially now that I have my lashes done. I think it’s just as important to let your skin breathe and bring out the full beat on special occasions.

 

-Do you think you look good even without any makeup on?

Of course! You shouldn’t wear makeup to look good, only to enhance your natural beauty.

 

-In your opinion, what is the BEST makeup line?

I don’t think I can just pick one makeup line as the best, there’s too many good ones out there!

 

-What do you think of Makeup??

I love makeup and how it can instantly change not only your look but also your mood! I’m also a firm believer that with the right lipstick there’s nothing one can’t handle!
