Wedding Wednesday

Hello lovelies!

As many of you may I know I’ll be getting married in a few months! Wedding planning can be stressful but I’ve tried to enjoy the process and not to tackle to many things at once. During my vacay to Dubai I made sure to find the perfect pair of shoes and an equally fab clutch to wear for my Nikkah. The Nikkah is the religious ceremony that takes place in the afternoon, followed by an all female party that evening. For the Nikkah we wear a green Dirac (traditional Somali attire). Since the green Dirac is a true emerald green I wanted to find something that would compliment the outfit.

I went inside the Jimmy Choo store located in Dubai mall to start my hunt. I had the pleasure of working with a wonderful SA (sales associate) who helped me find the right pair. It took a few tries until we came across the perfect sparkly heels and a clutch to compliment it.

After the big purchase I went out to dinner with one of my bridesmaids and another good friend. We had dinner at Omnia (same place my wonderful bridesmaids and girlfriends threw my bridal shower) their food is amazing. The owner of the restaurant stopped by our table (Silvena) to make sure we were doing well, talk about excellent customer service! We discussed my Somali heritage and how she use to work for David Bowie and supermodel Iman. I highly recommend anyone who is in Dubai to stop by there.

Since I want to keep the element of surprise, I won’t be showing the shoes or clutch today. Don’t worry though, I’ll do an entire outfit post after the Nikkah. Would love to know what your dream wedding shoes would be! Shop the look below. -Habon xo

      1. They had such great customer service! It was my first time making a purchase from them but definitely won’t be the last time. I loved how comfortable but stylish their shoes were, two main things I was looking for and me and my feet could not have been happier. I ended up getting this super adorable clutch that I can’t wait to wear out!

  1. Awesome! I really like Jimmy Choo. I don’t see many women wearing them up here in Canada, and out of all those designer shoe brands, I find them the most comfortable!

And yes – the service was second to none. They pretty much appealed to my soul when they gave me a glass of champagne while I bought my last pair of shoes. LOL!
