Afternoon Tea

Hello Lovelies,

Happy Wednesday! I mentioned yesterday how I was busy traveling and I was fortunate enough to travel back to Dubai for a week to see my fav girls and family. Although that heat was no joke (I was literally sweating my roots out), one thing I love most about the city besides the amazing people is all the amazing restaurants! I called up one of my fav cousins and bridesmaid Bilan to do a traditional afternoon tea at Fortnum and Mason. This super adorable spot is located right outside Dubai Mall and a perfect view of the dancing water fountain and Burj Khalif out on their patio. We opted to sit inside (with the blasting A/C) to enjoy our Afternoon Tea. We each got to pick our own tea ( I chose the Queen Anne which is a smooth and bright Ceylon tea, and Bilan got the chai tea which was deliciously spiced). We enjoyed our pots of tea in the Tiffany china, which I would love buy one day or gladly accept as a gift (cough). Our waiter brought over a three tier tray that had an army of finger sandwiches, various types of scones with clotted cream and an array of jams. At the top of the three tier tray were the cutest mini desserts which is sure to satisfy any sweet tooth. We sat there for hours sipping our tea and spilling tea. Once we were finished with our afternoon tea the waiter told us we could pick any slice of cake we wanted from a dessert display in the middle of the room. We were too stuffed to eat but we took our pieces to go. We then went out to the patio to do a photo shoot of both the scenery and our outfits. If you’re ever in Dubai and looking for a great Afternoon Tea spot then I highly recommend checking out Fortnum and Mason. The food was delicious and the service impeccable! -Habon xo
