Hello Lovelies,

I have to admit that I’ve been bitten by the makeup bug. Like any other girl, I love getting my makeup done for special occasions, but other than that I usually tend to wear little to no makeup day to day, but that’s all changed. After numerous youtube videos, insta photos, and getting my makeup professional done for my wedding and a few other events this year, I realized I had to step up my makeup beat game. Its actually amazing what makeup can do and I’m totally hopping on the bandwagon!

First order of business was to go to Sephora and stock up on major highlighting and contouring products so that I could achieve that flawless look. I did a major Anastasia Haul where I picked up all the goodies I would need. I also went to MAC and stocked up on nude lipliners  and lipsticks, because every good beat needs the perfect lip color. Once I got my products, I realized that no beat is complete without the essential tools, i.e. brushes! I did my thorough research, like any good student, and consulted good old youtube and Insta. I saw a lot of makeup gurus raving about Morphe and Sigma brushes so I decided to order the Morphe brush set, but since I have impatient tendencies, I decided to stock up on some essential brushes. I also picked up the prep and prime spray from MAC and a setting spray from NYX, to keep my makeup in place and dewy!
